Research
In
many ways, research should come first.
Before
you even think of going into business, you need to research the
potential market for your product, the competition, their pricing, potential suppliers,
locations, and so on. In order to sell, you need to research who your
customers are, where they live, what they want and what
they're willing to spend. Every time you plan a business change,
you should research first - and ideally do it again afterwards to see
if it was the right move. And to build your brand you need to research
yourself; you need to understand what you offer and how your customers
see you.
You need to make sure that all your hard work is paying-off.
Research
is complex, time
consuming and the results may at times be confusing, but it would be a
grave mistake to ignore it, truly understanding their market is what sets the
best brands apart.
