About the Ethical Writer
I truly believe that current business models are wrong - both ethically and for the future of our planet. Capitalism has made many people rich but it has made many more poor. Money is not the future; money does not create anything, businesses should not see profit as their only goal.
I believe that there is room for us all to make a comfortable income and still to live a good, constructive and happy life.
We should work to live, not live to work.
I make no apologies for the tone of this piece; if you find it over the top then, perhaps, you do not feel as I do and need to find someone more in tune with your goals. If, however, this has struck a chord with you then contact me and let's work together.
ethical adj 1 conforming to accepted, esp professional
standards of conduct and / or morality. 2 relating to ethics. 3
not investing in companies whose activities or products do not conform to the
moral principles of the investor.
Note: We speak of ethics in two ways, descriptive and normative. The ethics of a group (e.g. Western ethics or business ethics) is the broad pattern of social behaviour and shared self-understanding that in fact knits the group together. When we say that an action would not be ethical, however, we mean that it would be wrong, not just that it is at odds with the ethics of some group.
